For publishers, authors and editors:
Interface does not have the postage capacity to receive and distribute review copies of books, and we do not normally solicit reviewers. Please don’t send us requests about this. We rely on potential reviewers contacting us with ideas of books to review, so if you have an idea, please get in touch! When this happens, we’ll contact the publishers for review copies.
For reviewers:
Book reviews for Interface are 1,000 to 1,500 words long and are reviews of important theoretical, political and research works that are felt will be of interest to readers of the journal. The general guidelines about writing for Interface cover the general themes and audience for the journal, language issues and questions of format.
If you are interested in submitting a review to Interface, please send a brief email to laurence.cox AT mu.ie outlining why you feel the book might be of interest to activists and researchers involved in a range of different social movements around the world, a short biography (250 words or less) and your primary affiliation (activist or academic). Please also include a statement guaranteeing that you have no close personal or professional ties to the book’s author.
